Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

Saturday, 6 February 2010
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 was launched at the tail end of 2009 and the grand unveiling revealed a technology packed, sleek looking mobile phone.

Under the “bonnet” of this great phone the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 runs on Android and carries an 8 mega pixel camera with a four inch Toshiba TG01 touch screen among other exciting gadgetry. Oh did I forget to mention the 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor giving the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10
huge power?

The idea of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is to combine entertainment and communication into one well designed package, and the phone does not disappoint.

The phone allows you to download any application you want utilising the open source Android software by Google and combines this with some of Sony Ericsson’s own applications such as Timescape, Mediascape and Face Recognition.

Timescape is basically a cool tool that takes all contacts made by Email, text of phone and groups them together by the contacts in your phone book. This means you can click on your friend John Doe and every contact you made to John Doe of all types is instantly available to you.

The Mediascape function is a media storage device that allows an easy view of all media saved on your phone and it also recommends music and films online to you that you might like.

For those in the UK there is also great news about the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 that has just been released. It has been confirmed that this great phone will be made available on the Vodafone network from April 2010.

Vodafone has not released the pricing structure yet but I believe it won’t be cheap, that being said you are sure to get what you pay for with this amazing mobile phone. If you are like me you are already eagerly awaiting the release of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.
