A new tablet computer will be launched onto the market called the iTablet. Many people would imagine that this is another new and innovative device by Apple but they would be wrong, this new tablet device is going to be launched by the UK Company X2.The name iTablet is a clear effort by X2 to take advantage of a name that was banded around for a long time as the name of Apples first tablet, which ended up being called the iPad.
The X2 iTablet will be a powerhouse of a tablet and will come complete with 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom processor and run on Windows 7 Mobile. The iTablet will also be able to run flash video and has the capability of running multiple tasks at once.
The iTablet has a removable battery that possesses a three hour battery life, so not a bad battery life for when you are on the move.
There is only one draw back to the X2 iTablet and this is the thickness of the device, the iTablet is 35 millimetres in thickness, some 21.6 millimetres thicker than the Apple iPad version. You can however guarantee a rugged and hard wearing device as X2 are better known for supplying hard wearing laptops to the military.
The power of the X2 iTablet is backed up by a 12.1 inch touch screen, 1.3 mega pixel camera, USB ports and HDMI-out connection.
The X2 iTablet will be officially launched in April and is likely to be a great, yet cheaper option than the Apple iPad.
