Facebook Allows Money Payments

Sunday, 7 March 2010
Facebook has taken another move in revolutionizing its social networking enterprise, this time allowing friends on Facebook to make small payments directly to each other.

The new Facebook application that will allow friends on Facebook to make payments to one another is called Buxter and handles payments in both US Dollars and the Euro; it will also be able to handle the British Pound in a matter of weeks. There are other currencies available for payments but a small fee is taken for using these other currencies.

Payments between friends with a Buxter account will be free which is sure to entice people to start using this smart application. There is a fee involved with transfers away from a Buxter account to a bank account which currently stands at 1.9% of the amount being transferred.

Buxter only allows for small payments up to a maximum of forty five pounds, forty five pounds is also the maximum you are allowed to hold in your Buxter account.

The Buxter application is made available by a company called ClickandBuy, an online payment service business. You need to have an account with ClickandBuy to be able to use the new Buxter Facebook application.
