This list of top 10 games this Christmas is literally the best selling games over the Christmas period, so we know what presents are being bought for the masses. Rather than simply look at the chart we have compiled a list of the top 10 games this Christmas from two of the large UK high street entertainment chains Game and HMV.

You can see straight away that the type of people purchasing at each store differs greatly with HMV experiencing alot of Wii purchases and no top 10 XBox games while GAME is literally the reverse.

These lists make for interesting reading and there is a pattern with the same game names cropping up in both lists such as Just Dance, Just Dance 2 and Grand Turismo 5. Even checking other stores like Amazon (who update best sellers hourly thus are not listed) shows the same games in their tope 10 best seller listings.
