Apple has now announced that the Apple Ipad is going on sale in the UK. Initially the Apple Ipad was to go on sale in the UK more recently but one million were sold in the first month of sales in the US which was higher than the expected demand. This higher demand caused Apple to delay its UK launch so it could fulfill all orders for this much anticipated new Apple gadget.So when will the Apple Ipad go on sale in the UK
The answer is today! Yes the Apple Ipad has gone on sale in the UK today and some Apple stores have opened earlier at 8am to allow people who have been queuing up get their hands on an Apple Ipad.
Interestingly Apple has advised those that pre-ordered their Apple Ipad to ensure they got it today, being launch day, may be disappointed as delivery times means some may get their Ipad tomorrow or the day after. Saying this some people have contacted the BBC and advised they actually received their Apple Ipad yesterday, before the launch date!
The Apple Ipad comes in two versions, one uses wifi to connect to the internet and the other uses both wifi and 3G technology to get you browsing. For UK users the following mobile providers have announced 3G price plans for the Ipad:

- Orange
- O2
- 3
